- CTL
attended the new Visa Chip Consultancy Update Programme,
which took place on Friday 13th September 2002 at Visa EU’s head office
in London. Our representative was Andrei
Povarov. Since EMV compliance and migration are compulsory from 2004,
CTL has a commitment with its clients to be ready to make this transition
as professionally and efficiently as possible. For this reason we have put
our most capable and experienced consultants at their service.
 CTL's
User Group meeting marked the 10th Anniversary of this event.
It took place from 24th - 27th September at the Coral
Beach Hotel and Resort, in Cyprus. This year's topic was "Winning Strategies".
- CTL was present as exhibitor at the VISA International Central
Europe, Baltics, North and West Africa Sub Regional Meeting (Athens, 27-28
June, 2002). CTL gave a presentation on "Smart Card
Implementation".
- CTL presented and exhibited at MasterCard's International Annual
Commercial Card Global Committee Meeting in New York during 6-7 June
2002. The event, held at MasterCard's offices, was attended by the key
commercial card players from around the world. CTL's presentation focused
on the features and benefits of the PRIME platform for issuing commercial
cards, and on CTL's relationship with MasterCard/Europay.
- On 2 May 2002, CTL and Hatton National Bank gave a
high-profile press conference at the Hilton Hotel, Colombo, Sri Lanka. The
event marked the signing of a major contract under which CTL will upgrade
the bank's card management and e-commerce systems. It was attended by
around 130 people, including representatives of Visa South East Asia and
numerous local television, radio and press companies.
Keynote speeches were given to the conference by the managing directors of
both CTL and Hatton National Bank.
- CTL was present as exhibitor at the Dubai Cards Middle East 2002
from 13-15 May. We gathered a lot of interest with the introduction of our
two new products SENTRY and
FRAUDGUARD
at our exhibition stand.
- CTL took part in the Visa International Government Services
Conference 2002, in Barcelona, Spain, from 18th-19th April. Over 160
procurement and travel officials, Visa staff, and commercial banking
experts from 32 countries, including CTL, were also present to explore
cost-saving procurement and expense management solutions for businesses
and governments. Visa International announced an enhanced set of
procurement and travel solutions for multinational organizations, outlined
global plans for electronic B2B payments, and highlighted growth in its
government business. We were the
only vendor invited to this event to present CTL's PRIME
PACC purchase and corporate card solution, which was especially configured

- CTL was present at the 2002 Cards and Payments conference in
Brussels from 16th-17th April, 2002.
- CTL sponsored the 3rd South Eastern European conference on e-Commerce,
in Nicosia, Cyprus, from 14th-15th March, 2002 . Read

13th - 15th March, 2002.
- CTL was present at the Future of Money Technology Fair organised
by MasterCard Asia Pacific in Shanghai, China, from 11th-13th March, 2002.

Stockholm, Sweden from 30th-31st January, 2002.
