Ron
Boddy, Commercial Director, Barclaycard International, spoke about
"Managing Credit Cards for Value", a fascinating and useful
insight into the strategies employed by Europes largest credit card
company.
Mr
Boddy has worked for Barclaycard for over 20 years. Most of his career
has been spent in Marketing; he has been involved in all major product
changes within the business in recent times, including the introduction
of Annual Fees and the implementation of Visa and MasterCard dual issuing
and acquiring.
More
recently he conceived and implemented Barclaycard Gold, one of the most
successful Gold credit card launches ever, and was the architect of Barclaycard's
European Expansion Strategy.
Mr
Boddy is a full Member of the Barclaycard International Board, and is
currently responsible for Barclaycard's businesses in Spain, France, Greece
and Italy.
