User Group 1999

Card Tech's 7th Annual User Group ran from 21st to 25th September 1999 and was held in Limassol, Cyprus. This year's theme focused on "Emerging Technologies" and looked at the ways in which card programmes could be developed to attract new opportunities in their markets.

The event was a huge success and was attended by around 70 delegates representing 44 institutions using CTL technologies.

The main topics covered were:

  • Emerging Technologies - New Challenges
  • E-Commerce
  • Chip Cards
  • NCRYPT 3
  • Commercial Cards
  • PRIME Modules

We had guest speakers from VISA International, Actix Consulting and DnB Kort.
